First Year... Done
I am exhausted… Totally tired… But I am relieved.
My first year at ISNM is officially finished. Well, still need to finish a couple of small things and assignments but no more classes and lectures.
Our open house went well and I am quite satisfied with the result.
Next step will be secure my place for my study abroad program (Third semester at ISNM means that you must have some kind of credit study from outside ISNM and usually with other universities or company outside Germany). Where? I can’t tell you right now as it will be a surprise ;)
So yeah. Two semester already passed. One more semester then I am done with my Master study. Quite fast, isn’t it?
Anyway, wish me luck to get my place for my study abroad. It will not easy but I hope that I’ve could make it.

Deep
Yes, another lyric to get on with my life… (or just an excuse to write an entry while busy like bees) Deep Binocular So this is what you mean And this is how you feel So this is how you see And this is how you breathe Sometimes I know Sometimes I go down deep Oh Beneath the deep blue sea Touching every breath All a slight off hand For everything you left Sometimes I know Sometimes I go down deep Oh / Read more …

Wooohooo! Love it! Well, that’s it for today. Have to get busy again… at least the weather is friendly today. / Read more …

Live Comment Preview
It’s a rather old trick but I’ve found it cool so I have to implement this trick here, call me a trend-follower ;). It’s called live comment preview trick. What does it do? Well, right now if you are typing your comment here then your writen comment is directly previewed live under the “Post” button. So there is no need to have a separate preview page and you can see what is you are typing live. Neat, eh? Just a little addition to spice things up. Hopefully it will works across browser. Other thing is I fixed the “Remember personal / Read more …

Want to learn CSS?
Most of you already familiar with my preaching on Web Standards. Especially about tableless design, yeah those XHTML and CSS. Most of you even flame me for my critics on your table layout and give me some hard time by give some ambigous and absurd reasoning. (My all time favorite is “everybody have the right to choose! you can’t force people to do it the standard way” - well, they are right tho, who am I to force? But that is not the point of this entry). So instead of preaching on the wrong side of the ear, I always / Read more …

What is missing from Indonesia IT (and design) scene?
After reading Mr. Budi Rahardjo’s weblog entry about “Dimanakah para pemimpi (komputer) Indonesia tinggal?” (in Indonesian, my native language) I realize that this is what I’ve been missing from the IT scene in Indonesia. We have tons of “technical” IT mailing list and almost none of the IT mailing list that discuss theories, philosophies, activities and other non-technical stuff but still important in the IT scene. From technical point of view Indonesia IT scene is great. Most of the IT experts are technically good and capable and obviously can compete with other country’s IT experts (although it could change according / Read more …
