CSS Zen Garden

Some people think standarized web design (using XHTML for content and CSS for layout) is very restricting. Some said that sometimes the standard create obstacle to the design itself. Some even said that the standard limiting their creativity...

Well, since when the creativity or the design has limit? The standard is not limiting them, they in fact enhance them. Don't believe me? Read on.

This is an old news for some of you but since I never post this link here, let me tell you about CSS Zen Garden. I am currently working on the Indonesian translation for it but it takes more time than I planned it will be (Sorry Dave, but I guess you still busy with your wedding right now... Congrats on your wedding tho!).

The Garden will show you what can be achieved by using only standard (in fact Dave use XHTML 1.1 Strict which is quite er... strict). Some of the design are so amazing that I am still figuring out how to create one like that (that's why I wasn't participate yet... no self esteem... hehehe). So free your mind, standard is not that hard... and yes it can be very beautiful indeed...

Well, I just go to a simple quote, “Are you sure CSS, Tableless or anything lead you to a restriction?” My answer : NO! CSS, Tableless is more than that, CMIIW. So, less is more… hehe… By the way, I like what you wrote “there” :) .. Good luck for the translation… can’t wait.. :)
